my hajj journal day 37, 3 September2017.
02:30 awaken.
03:20 showered after long waited queue.
04:00 suboh prayers.
05:00 went to pebbles throwing ritual.

Happy to have completed our final Jamrah phase.

09:30 arrived tent. breakfast. packed to return to hotel.
10:00 awaiting for bus to arrive.
11:45 bus arrived. headed to hotel. goodbye Mina.
12:45 arrived hotel after passing several road blocks due to zohor prayers.
13:00 cafeteria still closed. however, there was hot and cold drinks and bread. had instant noodles for lunch with my packed serunding. rest.
14:00 unpacked and repacked bags. sent soiled clothes to laundry.
15:00 could not sleep.
16:41 asar prayers. had tea with biscuits I purchased from Bin Dawood. a kind lady offered to share some dried sambal ikan bilis. ate with bread.
18:45 maghrib prayers. ate my medicines.  got to rest to prepare for tawaf and saie haji after subuh tomorrow.

my hajj journal day 36, 2September2017.
03:00 woke up. went for shower. usual long queues at every cubicles.
04:00 jemaah subuh prayers in tent. rest.
07:30 packed breakfast arrived. rest.
11:30 to toilet. prepare for zohor prayers.
12:22 jemaah zamak tamam zohor and asar prayers in tent. Encik Md Daud himself was our imam.

Dzohor prayers in our tent, En Daud was our Imam.

13:00 lunch. rest.
16:00 prepared for evening pebbles tossing ritual. 

Asmah covered her face to protect from dust.

18:00 to the 3 Jamarah. the pace was easier than yesterday.
21:00 reached home tent. had dinner. then, showered.
22:30 sleep.

my hajj journal day 35, 1 September2017.
03:00 woke up. saw people queueing up, we joined the queue. waited for our turn for the bus for 45 minutes. sweating and aching hands and feet.
05:30 arrived my home tent. slept.
07:30 woke up. biscuits for breakfast.
08:00 showered. rest.
11:30 awaken for need to go toilet. long queues there except for standing urinals. however, in plain view for the ladies to view. women queues overflowed into the men's area. no shame at all.
12:00 lunch. followed by zamak tamam zohor and asar prayers. rest.
16:00 got ready for our first 3KM walk to Jamarah Aqabah. our first pebble tossing ritual. at the end of it, we achieved tahallul awal. free of 10 out of 13 restrictions. I could wear underwear and normal attire. another 3KM walk back to our tents.
20:30 reached tent. packed dinner ready in tent. had dinner. then, showered.
21:30 sleep. 

Very pleased after our first Jamrah Qubra ritual.

my hajj journal Day 34, 31August2017.
03:00 early prayers or qiamulail.
04:48 subuh prayers. own breakfast today because we were to go to Arafat.
09:10 arrived Arafat by bus. a day filled with prayers until evening. by afternoon, I was sweating profusely. I was hot and suffocating. I held on by drinking a lot of water and water-spray my head and face.

19:47 awaiting transport to Muzdalifah.
21:30 arrived Muzdalifah. Performed simple prayers while picking up pebbles. The pebbles would be used for our next ritual tomorrow at the Jamrah.

00:30 supposed to leave for Mina past midnight but no transports. no announcement. so, we slept on the open, sandy field.

my hajj journal day 33, 30August2017.
at mina.
03:30 showered.
04:30 subuh prayers. breakfast was late. very thirsty. filled up my empty water bottle.
09:30 breakfast arrived. rest.
12:30 zohor prayers. lunch. rest.
16:40 asar prayers. rest.
18:45 maghrib prayers. dinner.

Be as comfortable as possible in a cramped space.

 

Perform jemaah prayers in an empty tent.

20:40 isya prayers. there was confusion and disorganization of our accomodation. told to remove mattresses to accommodate more people in each tent. another said the mattresses can remained.
22:20 tried to sleep but not able to. a bit chilly tonight unlike last night.

04:30 subuh prayers.
05:30 breakfast. showered. rest.
12:30 zohor prayers.
13:00 lunch. rest.
15:00 put on hajj garb. performed ihram sunnat prayers.
15:50 asar prayers.
16:30 had tea at cafeteria. the staff were preparing packed dinner.
18:45 maghrib prayers. wait for departure to Mina.
20:30 isya prayers. had packed dinner. bus had not arrived yet.
22:45 our bus arrived. on to Mina.

My Hajj Journal Day 31, 28August2017.
04:45 subuh prayers. showered.
06:00 breakfast.
07:00 to pharmacy to purchase Ventolin and Nasonex.
08:00 returned to hotel. rest.
10:30 collected my laundry. topup my mobile another SR20. accessed wifi. post an update in my FB for first time since I arrived in Medinah.
12:28 zohor prayers.
13:30 lunch. rest.
16:50 asar prayers. cafeteria for tea.
18:00 showered. repack bags.
18:50 maghrib prayers.
20:30 isya prayers. dinner.
10:00 rest. sleep. Tomorrow, we will leave for Mina.
